We had a nice evening at Rosso Pizza. Service was fantastic—staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our table was ready right as we arrived for our reservation. We were a bit worried about parking beforehand, but it turned out to be no issue at all. We were really looking forward to trying the Involtini appetizer. While it was presented nicely and had good elements, the flavor felt a bit unbalanced and it was quite under-seasoned. The pizza had great flavor as well, but unfortunately did not have enough basil and the crust was very dry and a bit tough, which made it difficult to enjoy fully. One small letdown was that we didn’t get a last call for dessert before the kitchen closed, so we missed out on trying anything sweet to end the meal. That said, we completely understand that weekends can get busy, and we chalk it up to a one-time oversight. Overall, the service and atmosphere were lovely, and we appreciated the warm hospitality. With a few tweaks, this could easily become a go-to spot.

We’ve been coming to this pizzeria for few years now. We always made reservations just in case they get busy, especially in the evening time. Every time we get some nice appetizers as a starters. This time I opted for some nice tomato soup. 1 cup was more than enough with those savoury crunchy croutons! My all time favourite pizza Margarita was on its way! Perfectly cooked on think crust. Extra hot chili peppers on top and some chilli oil! Perfect combo! Limoncello spritzer was ok but I will try something else next time! We had girl in training to serve us, and during the busy time, she did good. Atmosphere was great, loud as one can expect in a busy place. I’ll be back again soon!

Came here for lunch for the first time, great interior design and welcoming atmosphere! Our server was awesome and patient with us while my friend and I explored the menu, of course the main star was the pizza, of which I will confidently say was best mushroom pizza in Edmonton that I’ve tried so far. 10/10 all around and I will be back!

Rosso Pizza – Worth Every Slice, Even If You Wait Finding parking here during Friday rush hour is a bit like hunting for the last slice at a family gathering—possible, but you’ve got to move quick. Thankfully, there are a few free spots nearby (just remember to register). Inside, the place was buzzing—two young ladies running the floor, keeping smiles on while handling a steady stream of orders. Honestly, during that lunch peak between 12:30–1:30, it felt like they could have used a third pair of hands. I watched as piping-hot dishes from the kitchen sat for five minutes or more, waiting to be served—not because of carelessness, but because these two were giving their all and couldn’t be in three places at once. Respect to them for holding it together under that kind of pressure. Yes, our wait was over 30 minutes for one pizza, one coffee, and an iced tea. If we’d known, we might have skipped the stop… but then we would have missed out on one of the best pizzas in Edmonton. And here’s the thing—once the first bite hit, the wait was forgotten. The crust? Perfectly oven-baked, with that rustic texture you can only get from real craft. The tomato sauce? Fresh, light, and tangy, letting the other ingredients shine. Vegetables and toppings? Quality you can taste—roasted just right, balanced in flavor, and clearly chosen with care. You could feel the craftsmanship of the kitchen in every bite. So yes, during rush hour, give yourself some time. But if you’re willing to wait, you’re in for something special. To the cooks—keep doing what you’re doing. This is artisan pizza at its best, and Edmonton is lucky to have you. “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

I accidentally stopped in this cafe and was pleasantly surprised. The oven in which pizza is baked, firewood and cozy small tables takes you to Italy. But to tell the truth, the pizza was a little dry, a little sauce (stuffing), although the dough was not bad. Separately, I want to mention the staff, our waiter was caring, polite and friendly. Service for 10. I’ll come back here again to give a chance to another kind of pizza!

First time. We had heard really good things. I couldn't decide on the pizza or pasta, so I got both. In both cases they were absolutely delicious. My only complaint was the speed of service. Half out table had fisnied eating by the time the other had got their food (although in all fairness we did have 8 people). I'd go back

The Rossi Pizzeria is our go-to place for decent Italian dishes. We started with an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and olives, all of which were high quality and surprisingly filling—so much so that we only ordered the Avocado di Pollo pizza as the main course for the three of us. The pizza was excellent: generously topped with chicken, fresh arugula, and creamy avocado, and it was really big—perfect for sharing. We also tried the daily soup, which was nicely prepared, though it wasn’t the best I’ve had here; I’ve enjoyed better soups at this place before.
